Lauryn Glass, Elementary Assistant Principal
Personal Bio: Lauryn Glass is a committed mother of two and a lifelong learner. She earned a master's degree in early childhood education from Grand Canyon University and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with a focus on Christian Ministry at the same institution. She has completed additional coursework to earn her certification in special education and has seven years of experience in the field of education. After attending Trinity Bible Church and meeting so many remarkable families and students who attended the school, Lauryn decided to apply to TCA. The school's environment and mission were the primary factors that compelled her to not only enroll her children there but also to remain a part of and to serve the school as a whole.
Role at TCA: Lauryn Glass first came to TCA as one of the third-grade teachers and immediately felt at home. She continued to serve her school by heading TCA’s used uniform sales and offering free tutoring to her students after hours. She has recently switched roles to become the assistant elementary school principal. While continuing the school's mission to strengthen students' relationships with God, she is extremely appreciative of the opportunity to assist in its continued growth. Ms. Glass feels so blessed to be part of these students' lives and watch them walk with the Lord daily.
Why is TCA a special place for you? “I have taught at other schools and am able to safely say, there is something special about TCA. This school has something special that makes it a school worth working for. Experiencing God as a present and dominant force in the students, families, teachers, administrators, and hallways every day is such a blessing. I am deeply grateful that God has guided me to this school, and I truly hope that it is in his will for me to remain for many more years so that I may continue to serve him at TCA.”
Matthew 6:26 is Lauryn's favorite passage. "Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?" Because it allows her to remain positive and give all her worries to God.
