Personal Bio: Gretchen Nobles comes to TCA with over 15 years experience working in school technology. Her previous technology experience includes serving as district technician at Burleson ISD and St. Tammany Parish Public School Systems as well as serving as Assistant Technology Director at Northlake Christian School. She has a certification as an A+ Certified Service Professional, as well as various certifications from Microsoft and Dell. Gretchen has been married for over 20 years to her husband Ken, who serves as the Secondary Principal at TCA. They currently attend Christ Fellowship in Fort Worth TX. They live in Hudson Oaks along with two spoiled animals, Toby the dog and a parrot named Penny. In their spare time they enjoy spoiling their niece and nephew who are both enrolled at TCA.
Role at TCA: In her role at TCA, Gretchen oversees all areas of campus technology, providing tech support to all users, including software configuration, hardware troubleshooting and repair, parts replacement, virus removal, etc. She manages all technology purchasing and deploys new equipment. She also serves as systems administrator, keeping servers, networks and wireless networks running, as well as implementing and maintaining school email/Google Apps accounts for every student 6th – 12th grade.
Why is TCA a special place for you? TCA is a special place to her because it is where Ken began his teaching career and she loves the people and the family atmosphere. “We made life long friends when Ken was a teacher at TCA. We were so excited when God called us back to Trinity, it felt like we were coming home!”
