Mission Statement

The Ministry of Construction will provide a means of sharing our faith in Jesus Christ with the construction workers on the jobsite.  We will minister through friendliness, kindness, relationship building and gratitude using a wide variety of actions, which prayerfully may open a door to sharing our spiritual life.

This ministry may be the only gospel display that some of our workers ever experience.  What a wonderful opportunity to reach out and serve while also strengthening our personal walk with the Lord!

How will we do this?  Here are just a few possibilities:

* Enlist volunteers to pray at the jobsite regularly.

* Thank, praise and encourage the workers continually.

* Have classes meet at the site to pray.

* Host lunches for the workers on a regular basis.

* Frequently serve coffee and donuts.

* Ask secondary students to periodically wash workers' cars.

* Have classes make cards and banners of appreciation.

* Plan a special "Day of Gratitude" and invite the workers to thank them.  Provide door prizes for this event.
