The TCA Men's varsity is off to a 3-0 start in TAPPS 3A District 2

The Eagles started off district with an eight point overtime victory at home vs. Watagua Harvest, and followed that up with a 19 point victory on the road last Friday vs. Denton Calvary. 

Last night, TCA defeated Burton Adventist at home 52-23 to move to 3-0, and remain tied with Fort Worth Calvary for 1st place in district. 

TCA is led by Sr. Garrett Green who is averaging 17.5 points per game in district and Sr. Jake Henning who is averaging 10 points per game in district. 

Jr. Preston Gist has been a defensive presence since the start of district, averaging 7 deflections and 5 steals per game, to go along with 9 points and 5 rebounds per contest. 

The Eagles have been forced to elevate their energy on both sides of the floor without Sr. captain Andrew Ludwig who is out with a meniscus tear, but is probable to return in the second half of district. 

TCA faces Fort Worth Calvary on the road Friday night to finish the first half of district.
